SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe our text-messaging program and the terms that apply to it. They supplement (and don’t replace) our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Program

Program name: On the Spot Mobile Detailing booking notifications.

Operator: On the Spot Mobile Detailing.

What you’ll receive

After you book a service with us and explicitly opt in to text messages, you’ll receive transactional SMS related to that booking, including:

• A booking confirmation immediately after you book.
• A reminder approximately 24 hours before your appointment.
• Reschedule or cancellation notifications related to your appointment.
• Replies from our team to questions you send us.

We do not send marketing, promotional, sweepstakes, contest, or solicitation content over SMS. Every message you receive from this program is tied to an active booking with us.

Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. A typical booking results in 2–4 messages.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply.On the Spot does not charge you for messages, but your wireless carrier may. Check your plan if you’re unsure.

How to opt in

You opt in to this program by checking the SMS consent box on the booking form, directly below the phone number you provide, before submitting your booking. The checkbox is unchecked by default; you must affirmatively check it before the booking can be submitted. We do not offer a text-keyword opt-in — the booking form is the only way to enter this program.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message we send.

How to opt out

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message you receive from this program. Your opt-out is processed immediately and you will receive no further messages from this program. You can opt back in later by replying START or by contacting us.

Note that opting out of SMS does not cancel any active booking. To cancel an appointment, please reply to cancel.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier’s network and your device. We support all major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and most regional MVNOs.

Privacy

We treat your phone number and message content according to our Privacy Policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
